I found out today from my Social Security disability caseworker that neither my spine orthopedic nor hip orthopedic will co-sign my application.š¤¬ Guess they don't believe that the continuous stabs of pain & difficulty focusing because of the pain is enough.
Hopefully, all the medical records that she has gathered in addition to my substantial mental health history and cooperation from all the psychs and therapists I've had will be enough to qualify me.
@see_the_sus #fingerscrossed and good luck!
Thanks so much!
I'm immensely grateful that here in NM there's a program for low-income folks to receive aid in filing for SSI/SSDI.
I've been working with my caseworker since early December. She's done all the paperwork, gathered all my records, and will be submitting the application this week. All I had to do was answer her questions and lots of talking about my life.
I don't think I could have managed it all on my own. My anxiety and depression are thru the roof and I lose focus fast whenever I feel overwhelmed.
Plus, in the past when I requested my records for myself, I got charged and they weren't cheap.
