For those of us in the US, a general strike is what they do in the rest of the world to support workers. That's where everyone strikes, not just one industry.
Take back our planet from the oligarchs.
The idea of a general strike is game-changing and very important.
I do not expect the mass media to give it proper air-time, so if it is going to happen, it will require that we pass on the message and drum up energy.
I have been waiting for Americans to be ready for what the most of the world knows to do for many years.
I've floated it many times, only to be met with confusion. Maybe people are less confused now.
I won't likely be there to see it. I hope some of the rest of you show up.

Every union contact in the country should end on April 30..
Teachers, auto workers, nurses, you name it.

It's the date that the new UAW contract ends. And the UAW president is looking for a nationwide strike date where everything stops if contracts aren't approved...
Including SAG-AFTRA.. etc...
Labor strength in numbers and solidarity...
