Used to sneak out of my house to go to parties, now I sneak out of parties to go to my house
I sometimes feel like I was robbed of a lot of common teenage antics. I never snuck out for parties because I never had this option. I didn't have a car and didn't have friends who partied. Plus my parents kept a tight leash on us.

@peeppeepcircus @see_the_sus @Idissent I refer to it as my “spent” rather than “misspent” youth. Trying to make up for it with a misspent late middle age 🤘🏻

Oh, I made up for it once I left the town and went off to college. And kept making up for my lost teen years well into my early 40s. 😉
