I was on Amazon to get a few things and was curious about what sort of cooling wraps there are nowadays, being as I've never bought such a thing. I've got various things around the homestead I can use anyway but I did wonder.
Prepare water to 51C?? π΅ π That would be 124F!

My daughter found a couple of battery operated personal hand held fans we can take wherever we go. It has a bottle we fill with water + a few drops of rose or orange blossom water for misting. Mist face, hands arms etc and use the fan.
Friends & relatives loved ours so much, they asked her to purchase some for them.π€
They had them at $ stores last year for $4. each.π€·ββοΈ
oh yeah, I'd forgotten about those! *scribbles this on her shopping list*

It's inexpensive and does the job when you need to go out.π You can bring along extra water to refill it. Rose water πΉ is good for your skin & hair (yes I mist my entire head!) and smells so nice on a hot, hot day.
When it's this hot there is no sense of pride as to looks, re wet hair. Survival is the key. π
Iβve been using Mario Badescuβs Rosewater spray for several years. $5. Granted, it doesnβt have a fan attached. π

I use the same stuff I use for cooking & baking.π
Last time I bought it it was $3.25. We only add 3-4 drops per spray bottle. This stuff is super concentrated and powerful.πͺ
huh, this looks interesting. Is that Arab writing?
I'm needing to find ethnic grocery stores here in town, (well, I know the good Mexican ones already), to get some of my food fixes so I'll put this on my grocery list.
Oh wow, I never even thought of that! I'll sometimes make my own cilantro rice but my brain never considered trying rose water for Jasmine Rice.

Other times I cook it in Orange Juice & add a few drops of Orange Blossom water.
Here's another tip of mine. I add a handful of frozen peas & carrots to the water, bring it to a boil, add the fragrant water & rice.
