I just noticed that the pill for my refill of Omeprazole is quite a bit smaller than the version I’ve received in the past. I’m familiar with pill shape & colour being different from brand to brand but never the size.
@ChillySnowgirl @see_the_sus Agreed. You don't want to end up on the 11 o'clock news as a "preventable tragedy".
@LiberalLibrarian @ChillySnowgirl
I need my head examined for I just laughed and giggled at being a "preventable tragedy."
Yeah, I'll give the pharmacy a call. Thanks for looking out for me cause I can be a bit daft at times.
@LiberalLibrarian @see_the_sus Agreed. If you have a good pharmacy, they will be happy to listen to your concerns and double check that you have the proper medication. And hey, this might also serve as a learning lesson to give their customers a heads up when there's a change in their medications' appearance. 🙂
@see_the_sus Absolutely call the pharmacy. I always do when there is a change in appearance with a refill. Better safe than sorry!
@see_the_sus I'm with you on questioning this, as the two pills look nothing alike (especially if it didn't come with any note about a change in appearance!).
Maybe call (better yet visit if possible) your pharmacy and double check to confirm? People are human, and mistakes can happen. 🙂
