Alright. Cedar-dog got his prescription calming medication in his system. Well, the first dose anyway. I'm supposed to give him one this morning, and the another one 2-hours before his actual appointment today. The boy didn't want to eat anything... so I gave him 2 chicken nuggets and then his pill. Didn't want him taking the medication on a completely empty stomach, ya know? #dogsofcoso #plotthoundsofcoso #calm
@Dogofalltrees and because you’re a good thoughtful dog owner you polished off the other 8 chicken nuggets 🤣🤣best of luck with the vet.
@TwitterExpat So... no joke, I tried to shove the pill INSIDE the nugget hoping he'd eat it. But the doggo is super smart... and... well, watch the video. lol He didn't eat the nugget until I took the pill out. lol I just uploaded the video to his #Instagram (DogOfAllTrees) if you wanna see. I tried uploading it here... but... well, that didn't go too well.
Giving pills to our dear critters is a PAIN IN THE ARSE! Especially if you don't have any help to get the medication down their throat.
I've heard that doggies are addicted to the stuff. LOL
Cats, shiit, they can be addicted to catnip but if the med is mixed in with it they'll still not take the med.
