My mom is a bit of a hoarder. She definitely gets it from her father. He kept everything because it might be useful (and he often did use them). She keeps everything for the same reason, but she NEVER actually uses anything. After my dad passed, their bedroom became the "put it in there, I'll sort it later" land where everything disappeared to. Today she finally let me help her start clearing it out. It's been a year and some months. So much left to do too.

Down the road a piece, an old guy lived in a little white trailer. I'd see him sitting outside reading the paper at times. He must have passed away. for a few weeks now, somebody has been hauling stuff out of the trailer and the decrepit sheds. Piles and piles and piles. They've been using a skidsteer to push piles together and they've been burning that stuff. Along with putting stuff in rollback dumpsters. Can't believe all that crap was in that little trailer.
