We had to admit my dad to the hospital so they could get a handle on him and maybe work out a medication plan. This sucks so much. It's probably gonna break my heart forever that I had to call the police on my own father, but he's not HIM anymore, ya know? This disease is awful and luckily all the nurses and doctors were amazing. And a former coworker of mine is actually an x-ray tech there now and she came out and found me and kept an eye on us. They're all amazing. #Alzheimers
@sarcasmsign I'm very sorry to hear that, gees. Dementia is extremely tough to manage at times. It's good that ur keeping him safe and have those there to keep an eye on him. I've worked in dementia as a specialty for 30 years. It's quite challenging but there are resources to help. Please reach out if u need anything, Janine ❤️hugs
