So.. someone I know is a trump supporter called last night. The conversation got stranger and stranger as he explained that Congress is talking about aliens but they aren’t aliens but spiritual beings and that we’re going to have nuclear war next year. I really did not know what to say to that. He just told me he cares about us and that we need to get right with God because we don’t believe. He says you have to believe and know without questioning. I suspect this is part of a bigger problem
@rpardee well .. my kids were as wide eyed as I was. I have to talk to him :-/ but have told him how I feel. He says everything is going to be fine in one respect but then says something like that. Between him and the preachers I see whose hearts are spiritually hardened and who are being downright cruel, I just think to myself this is a very much like a cult. They have blinders on when he represents the very opposite of what they held dear. Don’t know what to say about that.
