Any A/V nerds on here? If I'm replacing a circa-2009 receiver with a modern one, should I also replace my HDMI cables? The old one supports HDMI v1.3a and the new one... doesn't seem to say. It's supposed to handle 8k video.

@rpardee
don't get the HDMI cables with the gold plated ends. Splurge and get the solid gold cables. They're ductile enough.
