oy with this work bureaucracy. Someone sends me a link to a sharepoint doc, which I click, only to get a "you don't have access" page. "Click here to request" access, which I do.
The person who gets the request (in the form of an e-mail with great big 'Accept' and 'Reject' link buttons) *forwards that e-mail to me* along with instructions for filling out a service now ticket so the task of granting me access (or not) can be assigned.

the doc in question just gives equivalent directory paths on old & new systems where data extracts can be found. No PHI, no keys-to-the-kingdom, nada.
@rpardee I'm with you. I have a degree and skills which they allegedly hired me for, so I can spend all day writing tickets and jumping through arbitrary hoops. Infuriating.
