So, if I understand this correctly, the real big difference between it being OK for Joe to drop out, and not so OK for the orange felon is, the republicans have already had their convention, and he is indeed their nominee.

@MakerWerks even if they could sub in someone else in terms of ballots & state election laws--would it be politically feasible? Seems like it's become such a cult of personality that the maga faithful wouldn't come out for e.g., a desantis or haley.
