OK so.. one issue. I got a message that I can't save my contacts on my esim any more (honestly, I didn't know I was?)

Where do y'all save them, why, and should they be somewhere local on the phone and of course the phone backed up or in the cloud somewhere..

@TrueBloodNet as an android user, I have fully slouched into the "google knows every crevice and mucus membrane of my informatics life".

Which is to say--I save them to google's contacts.

@rpardee I am surrendering as well. In fact, I turned on some privacy stuff on this phone last night while I was too ill to sleep & I'm rethinking some of them. I'm also going to adjust my phone to keep track of me & 'be found' as much as possible. The young me would never do that but last year, when I broke my back out in unoccupied woods, I would never have been found without my phone. (I texted someone. I got shitty bars from xfinity-part of what spurred the new expensive phone debacle.) TYVM
