why does the co detector not ever give false alarms during the daylight hours?

me: OMG I'm really fuzzy-headed--is that b/c I'm oxygen-deprived? Or because I was woken from a sound sleep at 3am?

@rpardee Because batteries supply less power when cold an so the low battery alarm is almost always in the coldest part of the night.
