: Well, dad is finally dead. His estate is closed, and as predicted, all the stuff of his family demanded, often quite aggressively and indignantly, I save so they could go through it to see if there was anything they wanted... None of them wanted any of it. They somehow thought the old guy kept anything worth a shit, which he did not. Dad didn't collect. He spent, everything.
None of them looked at the stuff for more than five minutes and didn't even look into but one of the boxes. Asswipes. 🤦♂️

@rpardee: No condolences needed, in re: him. I wish he'd've had ALS and died in 2003 instead of my late stepfather Phil.
Phil was such a decent man and human that my dad really couldn't stand being in the same room with him.
