There is no movie in Ba Sing Se.

I'm only half way through and yes, it is better than the movie. Tonally more dark than the original show, but I'm enjoying it so far.

@rpardee I binged all 8 episodes and hugely enjoyed it. I didn't know the characters or story, having never had the desire to watch the cartoon or live action. There is a little strangeness with the CGI, esp. in the water-bender's powers. Didn't seem powerful enough. But Aan was terrif. I don't know if the creatures had more of a role in the cartoon, but they don't in the Netflix ver. But like I said, I was hooked on it from episode 1.
