It seems like the received wisdom that if Trump wins the election that the federal cases against him will evaporate instantly. But the naif in me wants to cling to hope that someone at the DOJ would balk at such transparent corruption. Is it really too much to expect that there would be enough people of integrity at DOJ that there would be some sort of resistance?

Put another way--how many people, would have to get how dirty in order for the evaporation to happen? What are the mechanics & what would it take to get the "right" people in position to carry out that order?
Per everything I've read from Seth Abramson, those corrupt folks are already in place from TFG's last stint, and the Biden Admin has done a poor job of ousting them, @rpardee. Therefore, I don't have much optimism if the election goes astray.
