Ugh, a woman from my Indivisible group is running for City Council and I butted in on the campaign to convince them to do text-banking, which I volunteered to head up. Well, it looks like that requires incorporation, and lots of general red tape.
I fear I have just wasted everybody's time & a small bit of money in fees. :(

The incorporation requirement was delayed & doesn't actually kick in until Nov 1st. So we can send texts right up until election day Nov 2d.
