Okay, I don't want to jinx it, but I *think* I have successfully repaired that screen that thwarted me last weekend.

The lesson I'm taking is that aluminum screening is evil--brittle & inflexible.
Unless the cat claws through the supposed "pet resistent" plastic screening that was easier to work with.
In that case the whole enterprise of screens is a plot by the lizard people and Chinese Communist Party to drive patriotic Americans like myself completely insane.
Smash-cut to Roy, holding up the screen material and gesticulating wildly toward a visibly disheveled cat, and yelling IT SAYS RIGHT HERE--PET. RESISTANT.
