@rpardee We had to repair/replace our screens with the special animal screening. It’s plasticy and gives but bounces back after our 18lb hangs from it. 🤣🤣🤣

@northernbassist Replacing from where the cat broke out a week ago--she bent the frame & tore the bottom.

I just could not get that spline in w/out tearing my own holes in the thing.

Gave up, cooled off, watched a youtube video (which declared that it's the easiest thing in the world to do). Fished the screen material back out of the garbage, tried again--same result.

@rpardee i gave up and just bought a new door. could never get the frame square again after my cattle dog busted through it. have yards of that rubber rope material, just in case.

Last time we had the house painted the painter offered to repair our screens for a nominal fee--gonna see if he can come back out...

@northernbassist I have since salved my home repair machismo by successfully replacing a toilet seat and a flusher arm.

@rpardee major bonus points for toilet work! take tomorrow off.
