I have a studied ignorance of sports, but signed up for ESPN streaming as part of a Hulu/Disney+ bundle.
By chance I put on a stream of (I believe) New Zealand women's cricket & felt a strange hipster pull towards it. Seems like a good opportunity to be insufferable.
Goths because you wear dark clothes, or Goths because you both hated the Roman Empire?
Well most of us are Visigoths, with a few stragglers of Ostrogoths and the odd Vandal.
But mostly because we wear black.
The All Blacks.
The Black Ferns.
The Black Caps.
The Black Sticks.
The Tall Blacks.
The Ice Blacks.
The Black Sox.
The Black Fins.
The Wheel Blacks.
You get the idea.
Now you can play guess the sport as well. 🤣

@raspberrypanda One of the teams wore white I think. Or maybe light blue? Def not a goth vibe. Other one was I want to say navy blue.
But really, you're missing the point of the subtleties of the wickkety-bing-bang rule...
I have not watched wickkety-bing-bang in years. Paint drying has more appeal. But since they are in colourful clothes at least you are watching a short form of the game and not the 3 or 5 day test matches.
