DW would like a switch for her birthday. There are only 2 basic models to choose from, right? The one that docks/connects to TV & the one that doesn't?
Looks like yes--there's the plain (full) Switch and the Switch Lite.
@rpardee Yep essentially. The Lite has less bells and whistles but more battery life. It depends what the main mode of play will be.
My boy has got the Blue / Red one that plugs into the TV. Quite fun to play with him. Can’t do that on the Lite
@joem2go Yeah, our eldest got the same one & I'd hoped to see more of it plugged into the TV, but she just uses it handheld. (almost exclusively for animal crossing)
At the time we got that for her it was pretty well hunted to extinction, so we felt lucky to get it. I guess we have more of a choice this time around...
