I'm always amazed by the intimate knowledge ppl assume I have of the data in the dbs I maintain. I do a lot of reporting, but that doesn't imbue me with off-top knowledge of e.g., what proportion of primary care visits were virtual last month.
I can find it out if you can define what you mean by primary care, but nope, I do not know that type of thing of the top of my head.
@Dobo That is legit. I will occasionally give them a time estimate for working out the answer to their Q & ask where to charge...

I got tired of all the people wanting me to do complicated queries when they were really just curious.
I started telling them "I'm here for decision support. Tell me what you're trying to decide and I'll help you analyze the data."
(In my case this was web traffic data, but same general principle.)
