While the mainstream news media focused on the 'debate,' a significant Supreme Court decision that undermines our criminal justice system was virtually ignored.

"A big part of Trump's appeal to his followers is the sense of impunity he breeds, where "criminal" is based on who you are, not what you do. A lot of MAGA is ready to believe their white skin and right-wing politics should immunize them from consequences."

"There’s only one man who should unequivocally drop out of the race. Anyone who tells you that it’s not Donald Trump is trying to sell you something."

Be honest. Would this guy be a viable candidate for POTUS despite multiple felony convictions, willful ignorance, abominable personality traits, and numerous other extremely negative factors that should disqualify him from any political leadership role, especially the presidency? Be honest.

People are making voting decisions based on 90-minute debates, while the Supreme Court is dismantling expert oversight of workplace and healthcare standards, judicial rules and regulations, and consumer and environmental protections, among many other critical areas of concern. All of this is happening just in time for the possible rise of an impending fascist dictatorship. Vote like your life depends on it, because it literally does.

Evidently, the GOP's fascist coup is in full effect!

"The 6-3 ruling in the case of Fischer v United States could also affect the federal criminal case against Donald Trump, who is charged with similar offences in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into the assault."

Stop voting for Republicans before we all end up glowing in the dark. Thank you.

What passes for political news — grading the candidates on how good they are at performing for the media, reporters on the campaign trail talking to “real” people, media-sponsored public opinion surveys and the thousands of polling stories they generate — is the media positioning itself as gatekeeper between candidate and public.

The media has its own notion of what “real” voters, “common folk,” and the people out there in the “heartland” are all about.

Stop voting for Republicans. Cruelty is their point.

"The US supreme court has ruled that a town in Oregon can fine and jail people sleeping outside even when they have no access to shelter, in a decision that stands to impact the approach to homelessness in cities across the US."

And, no. Just in case anyone is wondering. There is no third-party solution for regaining women's reproductive rights.

With all that's going on in the world right now, I'm so relieved that Joe Biden, and not the other guy, is in the Oval Office. How about you?

Seeking asylum in the USA is not illegal and living in the USA without legal status is a only misdemeanor. There is no legal or moral justification for for immigrants.

Guess who was the sole dissenter. You are correct!

"Since the founding, our Nation’s firearm laws have included provisions preventing individuals who threaten physical harm to others from misusing firearms," Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the 8-1 majority." usatoday.com/story/news/politi

In case you've forgotten, here's a reminder of how marked Juneteenth during his tenure. Commemorating this significant holiday by threatening violence against Americans protesting racial injustice is as on-brand as it gets for a wannabe dictator.

So who's going to tell them that voting for West or Kennedy or one of those other third-party grifters without a snowball's chance in hell of getting elected will help put back in the Oval Office? Snap out of it!
