Many friends of mine knew that I despised gentrification.
ON other hand, we have very small evidence of Deaf History out there. We had this obscure but small historical marker in Manchester neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia - see the photo - on Hull Street and West 5th Street.
It was there before gentrification came. Now my friend alerted me last night that the marker is gone. Guess what replaced the site? A fucking Chipotles Mexican Restaurant. Now ... where is the marker?
@ridor9th I'd ask the Masons, I think they'd keep track of their markers and if it was removed without their knowing they'd get it replaced.
