@redwolf Beautiful-looking dog, but the eyes are different. What causes that?

@MisterE It's called congenital heterochromia iridis. In most other breeds, blue eyes can be indicative of blindness or deafness, in huskies blue eyes are just a thing. And mismatched eyes are quite common. My previous boy had blue bits in each eye. Common in cats too. Happens in people as well, although not often as dramatic as huskies

@MisterE A friend has the same eyes as my dog. Instead of being congenital (born with) his was acquired (accident). My eyes have little bits of stray colour, but nothing so awesomely dramatic. There's also medications that have side effects of lightening or darkening eye colour
