@Kit Democrats. Both parties of the legislature have put up budget plans he has vetoed. Every two years they go through the same back-and-forth gyrations, the state goes months without a budget. We were $3.5B in the hole last year. He has also proposed policies, approved by the legislature that have driven some of our best employers out of state. To be fair, he inherited problems, but he hasn't done much to resolve them. ctboom.com/governor-malloy-is-

My biggest dilemma this election day will be for state governor (CT). Our governor, a democrat, is consistently ranked as one of the worst in the country. The state's finances are in the shitter. This term is his last, so I either chose the new democrat who will continue the slide into the abyss or vote for the other guy who has strong support from Trump.

Aside from that, I believe there will be many party-jumpers in the next couple of years, leaving the GOP as the party of Trumpism/Authoritarianism and pushing the Democratic party closer to the center.

@th3j35t3r I'm independent, but definitely not sitting on the fence. There are values from each of the parties that align with mine. I vote for the candidate that best represents my values, so I'll definitely be voting Democrat in the fall.

Good morning and Happy Friday Cosonauts! Just a little time on the bird site yesterday makes me appreciate this place all the more. Have a great day!

@skroo it would be a big deal if we weren't in Crazytown.

There is no way FLOTUS wrote this, so an anonymous person wrote her response to anonymous sources in the news. Do these people do stupid on purpose?

@th3j35t3r That awkward place where humor and reality exist indistinguishably.

I believe the senior administration official that penned the anonymous NYT op-ed will reveal his or herself by Monday morning. The anxiety of holding a secret like that, must be excruciating. I wouldn’t be surprised if the author is actually multiple people.

@th3j35t3r Pure 100% gaslighting. What a ridiculous thing to exaggerate, only the narcissistic go to such lengths. Trump has manipulated the weak & lied for decades for his own needs. He hasn’t stopped. He has figured out how to use the MAGA’s fervor to manipulate them. They are his pawns.

I like how the op-ed was written as if Trump would never read it (or have someone read it to him). nytimes.com/2018/09/05/opinion

‪I don’t care what party does this, or what the sign means. There is no room for this lack of decorum in one of the highest institutions in this country. She should be banned from attending further hearings. And yes, if someone on Obama’s staff did the same, I’d feel the same way.‬ twitter.com/deborahkherman/sta

Many of these dopey MAGAs will burn up their Nike sneakers, and replace them with Converse. Of course they’re to hellbent to realize sNike is Converse’s parent company.

Can’t believe I’m routing for Jeff Sessions, but here I am. “Trump slams Sessions on Twitter, says AG is hurting GOP in midterms” - Fox Newshttps://apple.news/AxOuu8pnCTIqxF_4sVnztdg

This is a pet-peeve of mine. “If you don’t support Trump, you must be a left-wing liberal.” This is my dad’s affliction, the day he heard I chose to stop being a registered Republican he looked so disappointed. He went into this huge anti-liberal rant. To him i did a 180-degree flip. In his mind, there is no middle. Unfortunately, that mindset, one that should die with my dad’s generation, is making a comeback in the age of social media.
