@LindaTeppler
Have you considered libraries? Our local library allows "borrowing" from Amazon. I tested it and it's awesome.
Can recommend some authors if you like. Just tell me what type of scifi you are looking for. I read a lot of this genre
@rakshy I am really into post apocalyptic sci-fi right now. Anything that is by people who need the reads! :D
@LindaTeppler
not sure about authors needing the reads as they are already quite famous, but the books are good and I would recommend (they are optimistic):
A. Tchaikovsky "Children of Time" and Andy Weir "Project Hail Mary"
really fun read. both involve "the end of the world" in some way.
of course, there are plenty more, way more grim. Handmaid's tail, rifter trilogy (very hard sci fi), and a bunch about zombi apocalypse.
there is also classics like Do androids dream of electric sheep
@rakshy Thanks :) Have read all of these and I agree, they are really great!
I am trying to give authors who are self published or could really use the money a chance to advertise.
@LindaTeppler
I'm not one of them, unfortunately, but I wish you luck in finding them and enjoying their work ๐
@rakshy It's not getting the books that I have the problem with, just deciding :D I like other people to recommend books to me!
