Something I never did understand when I was a Republican:
We always flew "back the blue" flags, but we would curse their very souls for pulling us over. 😅
MAGA Republicans only backed the blue because it made Democrats angry.
That's it.

@quinnsentialOne this reminds me of Wilhoit's Law: “Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.”
@quinnsentialOne "owning the libs" is the entire platform, and it's so fking stupid.
I don't do anything bc it makes the GOP mad, I do it bc I believe it's the right thing to do to help society.
