I forgot that 1 day for us is 3 months in whatever alternate dimension strawberries exist in, so now I have to throw out what was a perfectly good 2 pound batch just a couple of days ago.

I've reached the "piddling around" part of the day, when it's too late to start something productive and too early to go to bed.

One amusing consequence of the time change: I just realized that the automatic file backup I set up to trigger every day at 2 am never happened today, because 2 am never happened today.

My internal clock did not in fact spring forward at 2 am. No word yet on when that might happen.

I finally watched part 1 of Dune tonight (yes, I'm 2.5 years late).
Without a doubt, it's the best version I've seen so far (compared to David Lynch's and the scifi channel miniseries).
Next week is part 2.
