@quietphysicist My father used them on his Atari ST around that time. My 8-bit computer could work with them, but it took FOREVER.

@quietphysicist Yes and no. In the likely event that I never have to depend on floppies or phone modems again, I will appreciate it.

@quietphysicist I still play Kennedy Approach. Occasionally, I will have a hankering for another golden oldie. On those occasions, though, I find emulation to be the superior experience.

@00pi Nice! I was a fan of Lode Runner myself, but it's been a very long time

@quietphysicist Lode Runner was good. IIRC, it had a level editor, so you didn't have to learn hex to create your own levels.
