This is a selfie from March 1, 2012. The dog is Chandler, aka the dog-shaped container for my soul. This was his tenth birthday. He had gone blind at age six, but lived and worked as a visiting therapy dog until after age 14. He died in June 2016. His paw print inked by the clinic on a sympathy card was my first tattoo.

We are going to game night with friends in a little bit. We said we would bring veggies and dip, and we will, but I also made bite-sized celery with peanut butter and now I don't know if I am like a commercial from the 60s or a kitchen goddess.

I am falling in line with a good trend and trying this frankenfruit: strawberries with pineapple genes in them. They are amazing.

We have a friend group with whom we go out to dinner to celebrate when TFG is in trouble or faces accountability, etc. So we went to dinner tonight. One friend is the king of the thrift store to antique store pipeline. He was bringing to dinner a crown that he was going to gift to another friend who had to cancel last minute on account of a cold. So here is my turn trying it on - I generally look good in any and all headgear.
