Shout-out to our dear @BosmangBeratna, who's living in the middle of some of Canada's recent importation of US hatemongering (not that "buying local" is any better: just don't buy the hate at all!).
On one of his latest YouTube shorts, he's got a little message of "frayed nerves but still fightin'" uplift for us all. 💪🏻
(And hey, remember: It's okay to go mad in mad times - but if one must, it's always best to go mad together!)

Nobody promotes the patriarchy better than women jezuzfreaks... How about "Attention men! Don't fcukn assault women in any season, at any time of day, in or out of a car" #ffs Kelly... get back in your treehouse and keep your syrup to yourself...

"So when people ask about parental rights, you tell them there's no such thing. There are children's rights that aim to have the child's best interests paramount in any decision concerning them. The moment parental involvement or parental decisions diverge from [the child's best interests being paramount], parents lose their authority and entitlement, and that is the right thing to do if you want to protect children..." "If you're one of the many people saying that Hardeep Singh Nijjar was not a Canadian, the Minister of Immigration [Marc Miller] says you're wrong. If you're one of the people saying that that he may have had Canadian citizenship, but he wasn't a real Canadian, you're simply an asshole."
Blissing out listening to CBC Ideas. A Winnipeg doc wrote an oped at the beginning of the (ongoing!) pandemic about how Dr Hawkeye Pierce is why she became a doctor. https://www.cbc.ca/radio/ideas/mash-medicine-and-war-horton-1.6755124
My dad was a horse guy-started riding when he was15 exercising rich folks horses at barns around Winnipeg. Even bought “Shorty” from a barn owner. Dad’s best stories were horse stories. His youngest brother was mentally disabled & they were each other’s heroes. When Dad retired, he combined these two loves into 20 years of volunteering with the riding for the disabled. Tonight his only granddaughter is at a run thru for the fall cohort of young riders, volunteering as a leader. He’d be proud.
