Good morning everyone!๐ŸŒž๐Ÿฅค๐ŸŒ„ Took George out. The low overnight was 22F. Brisk.

Here's a tufted titmouse.

George wandered next door the other day, so now I'm needing to keep a closer eye on him. Will keep him on leash more often. This coincides with colder weather. So bundling up.

Forecast was for flurries that wouldn't stick. There's more snow in the distant trees than this photo shows.

Tomorrow is 91 years since a great grandma died. Mary Ellen Faherty Ryan (1852-1931). I know she played piano/organ at church, that she was a messy housekeeper, that she and her husband took in orphans, and that she died of a heart attack.

I've never been to San Francisco, but I did vote Democratic in my very Republican county. There were three or four Republicans running unopposed. I'd rather support people who are in a difficult situation like deciding whether or not to have an abortion, rather than make them feel trapped. And I support people being able to marry who they want to. Personal beliefs shouldn't be forced on others. In either direction. in the US.

Good morning ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿฅค

This is George's enthusiasm level today after his radical nail trim.

St Louis skyline at night, showing the Arch and Eads Bridge. Photo not mine.

During construction and when first built. Eads Bridge. St. Louis, MO. Completed 1874. First use of steel in construction. Was way over engineered because of that. They put sixteen locomotive engines in a row on it when it first opened, to prove to the public it was safe.

A brother and nephew taking a buck goat over to the females. He fights them all the way. The buck will have a different opinion in a few minutes. ๐Ÿ˜

This was the farm in 1993. Someone flew over and was selling photos they took. The biggest difference is the size of the trees. Also some of the trees on the left are gone. That's now where I throw the ball for George.

i got back from walking George to the edge of the far back woods. He is always ahead of me. Sometimes he's nice and waits. Now he's getting his beauty rest, not that he needs it.

Good morning CoSo!

Fortunately we still have more leaves than this. Was taken in a small town at the base of the Mississippi River bluffs. Ate at a restaurant and this is the view across the street.
