Good morning CoSo! This morning looking WSW. This is my favorite view at/from the farm. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning Coso!

I'm starting a bit historical. This is a Velie Six automobile built around 1918. The women in the picture are two great aunts. The one seated in the back died in April 1920. Don't know who the men are. The house is where my mother was born. It's no longer standing.

Velie automobiles were built in Moline, IL in the early 1900s. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velie

Good morning everyone! Since we're moving into autumn, thought I'd post this I took a few years ago. It's probably taken in winter, but the colors are right. A few miles further down the road I live on.

Reposting.

The first picture is my parents in 1950 or 51, six or seven years before they ever married. The second picture is mom maybe in 1987. Today is Mom's birthday. She'd be 92. She will be gone 8 years in December. She loved family gatherings and taking pictures. She taught me to read at age 2ยฝ. She had a difficult childhood, always being sent to live with relatives. She had one of the rare cases where when Alzheimer's struck she just became nicer.

George seems to know what "take your picture" means. He never stands still, but did after I said that.
I have another one after this.

My paternal grandmother in 1959. An actual color photo. As I've mentioned before, she was a cook at the hospital. She is wearing her "uniform." The baby is an older brother. I actually remember those pillows, and the couch. She died before I was born, on this date 59 years ago. 6 Sep 1963.

This was taken on a path nearing the top edge of the Mississippi River bluffs. You can see the Great American Bottoms farmland in the distance. This was a few years ago. Not sure I could manage the hike now.

There's a lovely Japanese bridge at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. I took this in spring before all the trees were in leaf.

This is a picture I took at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis. This is one of my favorite areas, but they have many different types of gardens.

Posted this late last night. There may be more people around now.

The second oldest English built house in Pennsylvania. I am descended from Caleb Pusey's wife Ann Stone and her first husband Henry Worley, through their son Francis. It's the only house still on existence that William Penn is known to have visited.

Good morning from me and some backlit birds. House finches if I remember correctly. Out in my back yard.

I'm not familiar with who she is, but the question struck me hard.
