A mourning dove here on the farm. My photo. Beautiful . I love their peaceful call.

Posting this again. I took this picture a couple years ago. Maybe more. Volunteer columbine growing at the base of a tree.

Good night everyone! I've spent the day figuring out the new phone. Here's some lovely columbine from a previous year.

Uploading a photo works on this new phone. Didn't with the old one. Photo isn't mine, but it is my phone wallpaper. Just testing.

@Weatherbeard The fellow below is called the Weatherbird. Your name sounds like his, but you don't look like him. He's been in the pages of the St. Louis Post Dispatche since 1901.

My son sent this from Maine this morning. I never know where he will be.

I didn't post it yesterday, but yesterday was the 32nd anniversary of my great uncle's death. Amos E. Parrott (1895-1990). He was more a grandfather to me. In ways, a stand in when my dad was gone. He filled me with stories of the past. He was 71 when I was born and lived to be 95. He wasn't that interested in history as a subject, but he loved reminiscing and that was history for me. It's how I heard first hand stories about people who would be 200 years old now.

Think I finally settled on a desktop theme and wallpaper. Tried a bunch of sleek, artistic designs, bud decided I need something serene. This is Linux Mint MATE (mah-tay) OS.

@Devlyn_Angel This is my Uncle Matt (born Dec 1924) in what I think is an 1930 Ford Coupe. He looks to be around 15 or 16. ?
