I just saw something that broke my heart. A house up the street had absolutely stunning flower beds - I'm talking mature Iris, Peony, roses, strawberries, grape vines, and so much more. Just beautiful stuff all summer long, all over the yard. The house was sold last year. The new owners pulled it all out. All of it. Now it's just dirt (grass).

I was overwhelmed with the landscaping when I moved in here, and it took me five years to get it right, but no way was I going to pull it.
