(Cont) They hadn’t yet invented the sharps container so they were throwing the used needles in wastebaskets. Bio hazards never occurred to them? They sat me in a chair next to a wastebasket and I remember looking down at it thinking I was going to fall in (saw that nightmare come to cinematic life in “Saw2”). Early childhood experiences really shape who you are, along with fears. Been scared of the damn things ever since.
The sharps container was invented in 1982. This incident was in 1977.

@Redskye572 had a menegle mad dentist when i was a stripling. my fear of needles and the medical industry in general started there.
havent been to a dentist since, still have all my teeth, nor to a doc in decades.
