My old kitty Levi broke his leg. It was traumatic and I’m struggling with flashbacks from that while dealing with current situation.

Right now she is isolated in a room with the SO resting on the bed. We will take her to the emergency vet if needed tonight. Otherwise I’ll call my vet when they open. I think she blew out her knee. So surgery…

Plan is to call my vet when they open at 7:30am. I’d like to start there but all vets are overwhelmed since COVID. Second place will be the U vet that fixed Levi’s leg.

Warned the SO this will be extremely expensive, budgetary changing expensive. I just hope it is fixable. Cats are hard.

Finally got to exam. Going to sedate her and give pain meds. Then do imaging. Vet thinking thigh bone or hip may be broken.
