we got windchill into minus catagory
yikes
not 1 critter on the meadow which has only a dusting of snow, it actually being too cold for that.
we are hunkered in our little house and grateful the electricity is holding. w/out that we would be popcicles.
as it is, my glasses were frosty when i put them on this am.
never know what you can endure until you must.
we feel solidarity w cold, hungry and homeless beings world wide.

we are grateful for every bit of comfort gleaned.
