Saw the specialist. 10:30 appt, got in early / out at 10:38. He did a thorough exam & looked at all the pics.

Nothing can be done except cortisol injections. It will resolve in 18-24mo. Just take pain-killers and anti-inflammatories.

Now to call imaging places re: injection. Will give it a whirl for next week either 28, 29, or 30, but not hopeful.. would prefer this week but already a full plate at work and want to be tidy for the incoming relief person..
