Some of you know I live near the Alexander Mountain Fire, and the three smaller mountain fires to the South. Rest assured, I'm safe! Just a little smoky. Friends in those areas are safe.

Thanks! Yeah, everything else becomes secondary. Luckily it was pretty fast from start to finish, with a great outcome.
My father was diagnosed with male breast cancer back in March. Luckily they caught it early, did surgery, and he didn't even require radiation! Dad was a real trooper, too. ❤️
Ooh, are you near the Alberta fires? I've been watching those, and feel for anyone downwind.
I'm in Colorado, getting smoke from California as well as our own.

@p3R1n01D Yeah it's only a few hours from here to Jasper - a lot of people from here go there for weekend getaways so it's quite sad. The last few years there have been fires in communities all around us, and BC is getting hammered again this year too. So it's been pretty smokey in the summers here lately since we end up with the smoke from there too. 😢
