It's the Christians ya'll. If that makes you feel better, because you know what it really is. But if you choose, stick with that.
@stueytheround @nursefrombirth I agree Stuey. It's getting hard to even say that I believe in God. Not because I don't but because that phrase in people's minds comes with the connotation of US Evangelical Nationalists. What I believe couldn't be further away from all of that!
@homebird @stueytheround
No one is going to shut me up, not now. I'm not going to defend the LORD, he does his own defense, however, I am no longer gonna give others power over what I find meaningful in my life. So, let them talk, one thing for sure, they most definitely don't know what they are talking about.
@stueytheround Yes, I thought we were a bit more gentle here. But if they want to bring it. I'm here for it. Me, my fellow Christians, and our LORD in the sky, as they say. But mine, is with me all the time. I'm sick of it.
@nursefrombirth
Amen.
My faith can not be taken away by somebody else's ignorance. My God is ever present, ever loving and invincible. ❤️
@nursefrombirth It's their warped interpretation of the word that is the problem.
@nursefrombirth I'm feeling a bit less welcome at the moment as a result.
People will then come and say "Oh we don't mean *you*! You're a *good* Christian!" before going away to drag Christians over the coals with more generalisations.
