Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich Blasts 'Pathetic' Trump In Explosive Takedown
Popovich, who described the former president as a “small” and “damaged man,” called out Republicans for supporting him while knowing “he’s an ass.”
“They’ve called him xenophobic, a religious bigot, a racist, unfit for office, on and on and on. Their words but they’re right there with him."

Popovich later pointed to his grandchildren and asked if he’d want the former president to be an “example” for them when things don’t go well.
“Like everybody in this room, you know, hopefully all of us taught our children, ‘You’re not gonna win all the time but when you win, be humble. When you lose, do it with grace.’ We all do that. He doesn’t do that,” he said in a nod to Trump’s 2020 election loss.
