NC Republican: ‘Hurricane Helene was NOT geoengineered by the government’

“We have seen a level of support that is unmatched by most any other disaster nationwide; but amidst all of the support, we have also seen an uptick in untrustworthy sources trying to spark chaos by sharing hoaxes, conspiracy theories, and hearsay about hurricane response efforts across our mountains,” he added.

When the republicans have to make these statements you know it's bad

@Idissent That's why they are going to lose the election. People can say whatever they want but when they cast that private vote, people with any sense at all will NOT vote for trash. But we do have plenty senseless people in this country.

@nursefrombirth

How long until these Republicans just give up on their own party like so many others already have?

All this heartache for what? To appease a malignant narcissist? What happened to those morals that religion is supposed to give them?

@ExecutiveFunction404 All this heartache because little donald trump doesn't like to lose.

@ExecutiveFunction404 Perhaps I should have said he can't cope with losing, I don't think anyone likes losing, I certainly don't. 🤔

@nursefrombirth

It's physically painful for them bc they take it as an affront to them as a person. I don't mind losing/being wrong (depending on on what it is), bc I can learn from it.

He, on the other hand, added an extention to a NHC hurricane cone bc he *can't* be wrong. He fomented an insurrection bc he *can't* be a loser.

I think that's the difference - can't vs prefer not to

@nursefrombirth Well done to him for telling the truth. Not a common trait in today's GOP.
