Democratic National Convention donated more than 26,000 pounds of leftover food to Chicagoans in need
As part of its ambitious sustainability plan, the convention worked with the city and other partners to rescue and donate thousands of meals to Chicago-area churches and nonprofits.
@nursefrombirth That’s the kind of personality I want representing me. I’ve been hungry at certain points in my life. Nobody should have to suffer the feeling that you’re being turned inside out and so hungry you can’t even sleep.
