Teamsters and Trump disagree on immigration at endorsement meeting
“Most people need it closed down,” Trump said of the border. “People feel differently about different things, but the unions and the Teamsters, if they don’t have it closed down, they’re not going to exist. They’re not going to be able to exist.”
O’Brien said he doesn’t support a shutdown of the border, adding “we are all products of immigration.”

@nursefrombirth the GOP is a hot mess. I used to be more conservative (mostly from my upbringing) but I also feel like they were a different party, then. We had a really great Republican governor (Charlie Baker) who got us through the pandemic (one time with an end-run around the federal govt’s supply shenanigans, daily updates, etc). Now we have a great Democratic governor. I’ve always voted for the person, not the party. But I won’t vote GOP ever again unless they evolve.
