You know, if these guys (whose express intent is the overthrowing of the US government) were in Syria, Iraq, or Afghanistan, we'd have already drone striked them into oblivion.

But in all seriousness, don't underestimate them gathering in numbers to train.
Per a lot of online chatter, they're going to be going after "soft" targets moving forward (municipal buildings, hospitals, schools, etc), especially after the most recent, uncoordinated attacks on that FBI office & the Capitol failed.
