Instead of education toward empathy, compassion and science-based decision-making, there will now be full-fledged indoctrination away from those.
The rest of us in the world will find the global challenges - climate crisis mitigation, aggressive attacks on the international order - more difficult to handle.
A missed opportunity for a course correction. The experiment is in jeopardy.
At least, the states have control over much; people's lives and health will depend on what state they're in.

Amendment 3 passes, restoring and protecting reproductive rights
You did it, Missouri! Republicans tried everything in their power to keep abortion off the ballot and to stop voters from having a say, but you won anyway. A huge congratulations to Missourians for Constitutional Freedom.
What’s also remarkable about Missouri’s win is that pro-choice activists persevered despite enormous Republican-enacted hurdles.
