Margaret Atwood, 84 years old, attempting to burn an unburnable copy of her novel The Handmaid's Tale with a flamethrower.
A single unburnable copy was created to raise awareness about increasing censorship. The unburnable copy was auctioned off after her flamethrowing attempt, raising $130,000 for PEN America, a literary and free expression advocacy organization.
As Atwood asserted in her poem Spelling: "A word after a word after a word is power."

The vile muskrat has donated mega millions to ๐Ÿ„rumโ€™s campaign and now he is holding events in Pennsylvania". but muskratโ€™s events are likely illegal.ย
The events arenโ€™t open to everyone. To attend, people must sign a petition (โ€œfree speechโ€/guns) and must have already voted in Pennsylvania.ย
Federal law prohibits an expenditure to any person to vote, withhold their vote, or to vote for or against any candidate. Violators can be fined or face up to one year in prison.ย

"This is serious, serious stuff and yet the media are, once again, falling down on the job. If nothing else mattersโ€”the criminality, the cruelty, the misogyny, the racism, the viciousness, the freaking fascismโ€”than surely the steep cognitive decline of a man who is running to be the leader of the free world should matter."
